KYLIE HAZZARD

Kylie Hazzard is a freelancer based in LA primarily working as a Cinematographer, Director, and Editor.

Kylie is the premiere hybrid creator, scaling top tier methodology to modern creator-based workflows, functioning as a one-stop shop, hand-tailoring each gig.

 

She's had uniquely impactful set experiences, including behind the scenes work for the ASC, being the Video Director/Editor for the KCRW series "Live From," which airs alongside NPR's Morning Becomes Eclectic, and helping launch technology like Frame.io's Camera to Cloud.​ She was formerly a Cinema Technical Specialist at Zeiss and also has extensive, high-end 1st AC and camera operating experience. She regularly works with A-List talent and huge-scale events, including the Super Bowl.

She makes herself valuable by being an artistic medium for navigating the technical side of storytelling. She stays ahead of the curve while carrying an insatiable passion for learning, light bending, and making new connections. She loves catching lighting in a bottle, and knows where to be to notice it. 

 

As a digital native, she is used to wearing many hats, with experience as a producer, content creator, motion GFX designer, composer, colorist, copywriter, public speaker, and even as on-camera talent.

Kylie is also a passionate musician. She is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, frontwoman of Sand Box, a composer/sound designer, and enjoys setting up and capturing live performances anywhere she can find them. She brings all hats to all occasions.
